Katie

Katie – Practice Administrator

Katie first got her start in dentistry in 1992, which means her career spans 30+ years so far! She joined Dr. Russo’s team in July 2019. In addition to her administrative expertise, she has spent several years working as an assistant. What she enjoys most about her role here is being able to partner with a great team of people who all truly care about patients! Everyone agrees to go the extra mile for people in need, and that creates a wonderfully positive atmosphere.

Away from work, Katie and her husband Jim have a blended family of seven grown children and five grandchildren. Her personal hobbies include running, biking, yoga, spending long days at the beach, cooking, baking, and reading good books. Wherever she and Jim are, you can bet there will be music playing in the background!

Erica – Patient Coordinator

Erica joined the dental field right out of high school and became a member of our team in 2018. A dental assistant by trade, she has her EFDA certification. Today, as our dedicated Care Coordinator, she derives great joy in helping patients by not only enhancing their health but also creating smiles that boost their confidence and self-esteem. Every day, she works hard to improve someone’s quality of life!

Erica is married to Nathan (a boat captain), and they have three sons named Wyatt, Landon, and Carson. The family has several pets too, including Rocky (a Yorkie), Lucy (a Golden Retriever), Roscoe (a Bloodhound), Ellie Bean (a Chihuahua), Lexi (a cat), a few snakes, a plethora of chickens, and a pig named Tina. As for hobbies, she spends her free time hanging out with loved ones, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and doing pretty much anything in the great outdoors.

Ruth C

Ruth C. – Registered Dental Hygienist

Ruth has wonderful years of dental experience since 1996, with 18 spent here at our Orlando dental office. She graduated from the dental hygiene department at Valencia Community College. Her favorite thing about her job is the patients!

A native of Orlando, Ruth is happy to have a loving and supportive family. In her free time, she loves going bird-watching and enjoying sports games. She keeps a pair of binoculars in the car so she can check on birds in the area.

Monay – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Monay has been a part of the dental world for nearly two full decades so far. After attending Quinsigamond Community College, she studied dental assisting at Mount Wachusett Community College. Today, what she loves most about her position is getting to meet new faces daily while also serving her community!

Away from work, Monay is the proud mother of five. Spending quality time with loved ones is always her top priority. She’s also a BIG lover of animals.

Kayla

Kayla, Dental Assistant

As a dental assistant, you’ll likely find Kayla assisting Dr. Russo with various dental procedures and gathering patient information while preparing them for treatment. She started her career by attending Delaware Technical Community College after graduating from Howard High School of Technology. She’s undergone advanced training in Radiation Health and Safety from the Dental Assisting National Board, has a certification in CPR and Dental Radiography, and became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Today, she gets to work with a wonderful dental staff and enjoys helping patients receive the best dental care they deserve!

When she isn’t in the office, Kayla is spending quality time with her friends and loved ones. She and her family members love hanging out and creating new memories together at every chance they get. Some of her hobbies include reading, journaling, and adventuring in new places. She also has a knack for technology, which is her second language, and thoroughly enjoys editing and creating things on her computer.

Pam, Hygienist

Pam considers the chance to get to know her patients and their stories as one of the best things about being a hygienist. After a while, she says, they become like family.

Pam was raised in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, before moving to Boca Raton, FL, in 1987. There, she completed an Interior Design Degree at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. After deciding on a career change, she enrolled at Valencia Community College and received her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2005.

Pam loves all forms of outdoor activities and travel adventures. Boating and snorkeling are some of her favorite pastimes, especially when she visits the Virgin Islands. However, what she loves most is spending time with her son and daughter. She loves animals and has had many domestic and exotic pets.
